Wonderful Family Session
What a wonderful family session. We started in the studio and then headed to one of my favorite parks for a chilly, yet fun outdoor session. I first met this family over 2 years ago when their first child was only 6 months old. Now they have 2 children and they were just perfect for their session. One of my favorite images was towards the end of the outdoor session when mom had just given her son a lollipop and I was shooting dad lifting their daughter in the air for a silhouette ( one of my photography trade marks). It just made a perfect silhouette and a family moment...love the trees framing them and the son looking up at mom with his lollipop as dad lifts daughter in the air. Here is that image along with many more favorites.

Here is another special woman and her sweet son. They were a pleasure to photograph and even took me to their favorite place for some portraits. I was in awe of the strength and will she has. I feel very blessed to have met these strong women thorugh these Think Pink Photography sessions who have been through much with breast cancer and persevere day in and day out. Here are some favorites.

Think Pink Session
I recently joined an organization that offers complimentary sessions to those individuals who are fighting and surviving breast cancer. I had my first 2 sessions last week and man were these women incredible. My first session took place in studio because we though it would be a bit too cold out for sessions..but then moved outdoors to a local park once I saw the gorgeous colors out there. I am so glad we did ...these fall colors will help her remember this triumphant day. Peggy wanted to celebrate her last day of treatement ( the day before) with portraits. She was so much fun and let me do my thing. I even had her laying in leaves...but the images of her with her arms raised to the dark clouds and screaming out with leaves thrown in the air I feel just captured this moment in her life perfectly. Photographs really can tell a 1000 words like they say. Here are some favorites of a very special woman.

Fun Studio Family Session
I love when I get a chance to photograph little girls, as a mom to 3 boys its my only chance to capture the cute dresses, dances and frills. This family was great and very patient during their session. I just loved the leggings mom brought for the girls and we used some of my pettiskirts which were perfect for their dances under the lights. The youngest one lost it during the session but she bounced back pretty quickly as you will see in my blog post . Here are some favorites...
