Baby in the woods...and his big brothers

I just love the area near my mom's house up in Southern Maine. We can walk across the street into the pines or a few streets down to the ocean. It was pretty hot up here so we heaed into the woods for some portraits, while the other two were on the beach with their Nanas. Logan is almost 9 weeks old so it was time for some more portraits.

And a few portraits of his big brothers "admiring" their new little brother when they came back from the beach. This was a not a easy mini session, getting them all together in the same frame. It took almost 9 weeks to get to this point.

Beautiful...

Finally the rain stopped for us to have their session..after 2 cancellations. It was all worth the wait. The weather was perfect , the location was beautiful for this beautiful family. Of course one of my favorite images is from when the session was "officially" over ( though with my camera, it's never over until I am in my car driving away ;) ) the children walked over to a pond to peer at a frog who was just sitting there...and a few more favorites from their session.

Welcome the world ...Owen

Look at this handsome lil man...with his dark hair and blue eyes. Mom and dad brought him into my studio last week for his newborn portraits. He was so good and even flashed a few smiles at me too. Dad is a firefighter and brought his coat and helmet for some shots too, and he loved to be snuggled by his mommy when she held him.

Studio renovated

I finally got the ceiling painted...those of you who have been there will remember the ugly ceiling paint. Well it is so much better now being white. Larger portraits, new lights and a new fake floor for sessions, and 2 new display walls are just some of the new things in my studio. Some of you may recognize familiar faces on my walls and displays as well.

Thank you to my wonderful husband Chris for his handiness to make all of this possible.

Welcome Logan Christopher

A new addition to the Paula Swift Photography family has arrived.
Logan Christopher was born March 26, 2007 at 8:24am
weighing 8lbs 5oz and 20.5 inches long. He beats his 2 older brothers by over 2 lbs
with his birth weight. Logan is doing well, now if we could just get him to sleep
at night. He is a great baby and only cries when he is hungry. Ryan and Trevor are very
proud of their new little brother.
