5 month old "Gerber Baby"

This little cutie reminded me so much of one of those "Gerber Babies" ..she had the best expressions and was so easy to photograph. I still am amazed that she was only 5 months old..sitting up with little assistance and standing up with mom's hands. I was very lucky to meet up with her and her mom during their trip up here from Florida. Here are some favorites...

A Very Special Boy

Meet Ryan...8 months old and he has a "rare genetic condition called Epidermolysis Bullosa. This condition makes his skin so fragile that it blisters with pressure and friction. His body is wrapped in dressings to prevent blisters and resulting wounds."
If you ever met him and his family you would never know the daily struggles they endure. Ryan was the sweetest and happiest little boy and his parents have the strength that would leave you in awe. From the moment I met him he looked up at me with his big brown eyes that would melt anyone's heart. I feel very blessed to have met Ryan, his parents and to have the opportunity to capture very special portraits for them. Even one of their kitties jumped in for a few portraits, which are some of my favorites. Here are some more favorites from their session.
