As I enter into November, they weather has been really nice this fall for all my outdoor sessions. This family coordinated perfectly and it really helped to accent their portraits. Their two little girls were so much fun to photograph.

These children are very fortunate to grow up across the street from an apple orchard..and made for a perfect setting for their holiday portraits. But brrrrrr...it was cold that morning as we approached the end of October.

Siblings will be siblings even when there is a camera there to document it...I loved their fun relationship. Another blustery day shoot. But so worth it...the family were troopers to capture some beautiful portraits in the weather we had.

This brother and sister were great to photograph..they had some really fun ideas and gorgeous smiles. You would of never guessed the winds we were having that day by the look of these portraits. Of couse we had to include their cute dog too.

Yes..its February but its time to sit down and update on some of the beautiful sessions I have had these past 4 months...the lasttime I updated here. I apologize to those of you who keep checking for updates.

So let's start with this fun family. The foliage was gorgeous and the family photographed perfectly...and their boys were great.

Well some say ..."You're a photographer? Oh you must have the best portraits of your kids"...ya right..if they only knew how hard it really is. Other peoples kids are so much easier than your own. Here is my attempt at getting a holiday portrait of my two boys with their 2 cousins. If you only could see my husband, sister-in-law and mother behind me jumping up and down to get them to look at me ( never mind smile) and kid wrangle so they would stay in place. Oh the pains of getting portraits of your family..but its all worth it.

Finally , a few moments to update my blog. This fall has been the busiest one yet...but the weather has been great as well as the sessions.

Family Fall sessions are in full swing now...another beautiful location with a great family. Sometimes nature likes to help play a hand in capturing beautiful portraits. Even though I had been to this location many times before I didn't notice the heart etched in the tree at right until I downloaded the images after the session. Just works perfectly for this moment captured between a sister and brother...a family.

A family of 8 gathered for a portrait surprise for their parents/grandparents. The little girls outfits were so perfect for this location..they looked like they stepped out of a story book.
